Very nice and humble prof. I am an engineering student taking this as an elective. Shareef is very helpful, polite, and entertaining. Arrives on time and is well prepared. Exams were on the eaiser side and from the text book and class notes. Very interesting class! Thanks Shareef, I would take another soci class as an elective if you are the prof!

I teach kindergartens who have better social skills than him. Heck, those kindergartens have better TEACHING skills than him. The guy couldn't find the way out his front door. He comes to class fifteen minutes (set your watch by it) and then he wonders why we're six chapters behind. So, instead of catching up, let's throw in a dumbass video that has nothing to do with the course. You'll ask a question and if he doesn't understand it (like, say, "what day of the week is it" he'll pretend you didn't ask anything and ask if there's anymore questions. The guy watches more tv than a Neilson family, and more movies than Ebert and Roeper. And every class we have to have a discussion about Friends, or life will not go on. He needs to spend a little less time trying to be cool and a little more time trying to be a good prof. And if I hear the phrase "ooh, life is funny" one more time, I may just poke my eye out with a rubber pencil.
