I had this guy for 105Q and he made everything so much harder to understand. As a student who struggles in Math, he made it that much worse for me. He is willing to give extra help but it isnt worth going too. I sat in on some other 105Q classes and learned more in that one sitting in comparison to the whole semester in his class. I attended class everyday and studied constantly so effort wasnt the problem. He means well but his teaching style sucks. If you take 105Q dont take him.

Bowers has excellent teaching methods. He really takes the time to explain the material to his students. As long as you do the HW/Practice exams you should be good.

If you want to learn and have a good time, take Bowers. If you just go to class, you're bound to do well. Heard his 231 class is really good too if you can manage to get in. A must for math people and non-math people alike

Adam Bowers is the man. It is not hard at all to get an A in the class. As long as you go to class, do the HW, and do his practice exams, you'll be all set. He has a good sense of humor, and he wants his students to do well.
