Adam's a great teacher, and this was one of my favorite classes when I took it with him at Avery Point. It was a smaller class so we always had great discussions. He makes fun of himself all the time, and you'll have a great time in lectures. His tests and papers are pretty easy, basically because philosophy is opinion, and how can your opinion be wrong? If you put in the work, you'll do fine. He's a great guy to talk to after class too, I used to talk baseball with him before and even during class, he's a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Adam is a really cool guy and pretty interesting teacher. He is really approachable in or out of class. The reading material does suck, the stuff you do read

Adam almost made me want to be a philosophy major...but then I realised that there would be no point in pondering unemployment =P

Adam is a great teacher. The way he approaches the material in class is somewhat unorganized, which is nice for a change. He'll bounce around to different philosophical topics and bring up new angles during class, making it very stimulating. And dont think philosophy is some arcane, useless study - its very interesting and has countless real life applications. Try taking this course and professor for an elective, you should enjoy it.

Adam is an Awesome teacher...he makes class interesting and makes sure you know EXACTLY what is on tests. He's pretty lenient with the grading as well. I highly recommend him!
