Creative and challenging. Two classes I took with him are my favorite.

Prof. Pitt is not a bad teacher. I think students judge his performance by the subject matter. Yes, he teaches hard classes, but I believe he does the best that anyone could be expected to given the complexity of the material

The exams in this class are difficult, however professor Pitt has no control over this. CS 173 deals with some really fruity and abstract ideas that people aren't used to dealing with. It can be very challenging material, but professor Pitt does an incredible job of making it understandable.
