I had the misfortune of having one of Professor Gasser's classes my first semester in graduate school. His class stressed me out like no other, and trying to talk to him about confusion I had with the class only made it worse. He has a very touchy-feely approach to teaching, but unfortunately, he's completely out of touch with his students.
