Prof. Altaner teaches geology. I would highly reccommend him as a professor! He does a good job of preparing students for tests as well as presenting his material clearly. Though he is a bit corny, the fact that he thinks the jokes are funny, is, in and of itself, funny. He tries to keep everyone's attention using visual aids and daily cartoons. He loves what he does, and it shows. A+!

He's funny, relates to students, doesn't give unreasonable exams, will joke around with you, and is just a really genuine and nice man. if you don't have him for a professor, at least you should meet him!

Far sides everyday were entertaining and a good break from the usual lecture
