Tom Basset has a lot of opinions. His classes are based on these opinions. I'm not saying his opinions are wrong (in fact, i agree with many of them), but he supports these opinions with the sort of informal fallacies that you'd never expect to hear from a college professor. Loaded words, straw man fallacies, post hoc fallacies, false dilemmas, etc. The one thing he doesn't use to support his opinions are facts. Also, sometimes when he makes a point that he thinks is importnat but is angry at the world for not "getting", his head tilts, his eyes get a little buggy, and he shakes, then he stays really still for a moment. It creeps the hell out of me every time he does it.
