He tries. That's about the best that can be said for this professor. He's constantly telling the entire class that quantificational logic is "so simple!", he doesn't teach (in fact, I scored better once I stopped attending his classes because he just confused me in his lectures). This is a professor to avoid like the plague.

The logic class is not easy. The professor seems to know the subject very well, but has difficulties coming down to the level of basic logic. He is willing to talk to you outside of class, but does not seem able to understand the difficulties of the student. I strongly recommend that you read the rules of logic in the textbook very carefully. Oddly, I've used what I've learned from this Philosophy class more than I've used anything from any of my other Philosophy classes, so if you do well, you should get something out of it. At least Dr. Becker tries to be a good professor, even if he has his difficulties.
