I was so glad when I got Hadara for another class! She may come off as strict at first, but that just cuts down on the slackers in the class. In her writing poetry class, you do also READ poetry. I took it as honors and had to write 16 poems (everyone else had 12). Even though this might seem like a larger number, I still loved it. Because of her, I'm going to keep writing poetry after this class and try to get into the advanced poetry class next semester.

Hadara is an AWESOME english composition teacher. Sometimes her explinations on what she wants you to write about are fuzzy, but she's more than open for you to ask her questions. She has very original, creative activities to "exercise your writing muscles".

Hadara makes class incredibly interesting, but be prepared for her rules - she doesn't believe in grades until the end, and she has very strict attendance and participation policies. Also, everyone's ideas seem to be valid, unless you don't have the same political views as her...
