Joy Arbor
University of Nebraska at Lincoln
Department:
English/Literature
Professors: Respond to evaluations by creating an account
This lady scares me! She needs to spend less time standing on her soap box and more time teaching a class. The crazy guy that stands out in front of the Union and shakes his Bible is easier to understand than she is.
Positive:
Negative:
Would not recommend this professor
Her biased, feminist attitude toward every possible subject makes the class quite difficult. She always wants to be right and will argue with you on any topic until her viewpoint wins.
Positive:
Brings discussion into the classroom
Negative:
Is a bad professor
Poor sense of humor
Professor does not relate to students
Joy is fun to have as a prof. she's always available to help with anything you need. She's a bit of a feminist, but that's not that big of a deal. she brings in a lot of topics and reading that are based on that platform. easy class if you do the work, not a huge load of work.
