Larry Andrews

Department:
Education
Professors: Respond to evaluations by creating an account
Andrews is an awesome individual. He's very knowledgeable about linguistics and he takes a variety of approaches and methods to tackle linguistics. The course uses his own book, which, personally, I liked. His lectures are a little boring. They drag on a bit the sparing amounts of group work are a welcome break to the tedium. He also tends to use the same examples four, five, or six times, which I find amusing. If you can sit through a lecture class, or if you actually like that sort of thing, Andrews is a great teacher for you.
