He made an effort to have a class that included more than just book reading and tests, which automatically makes him better than half the profs at UNL. He has a sense of humor and doesn't treat students with problems like they are lepers, which makes him better than three fourths of the profs at UNL. Use the study guides, review the chapters, and make it to a majority of the classes and you'll get an A.

His class is really interesting, and the readings aren't too bad--they're a bit tedius, but you can totally cram for this and ace the class. Akuni-Swetland's videos rock, too, and be sure to write a lot on your essay questions on your tests--he gives a lot of points for putting down a large quantity of things you remember from lecture and your readings.

I didn't know what to expect from his tests, the test is over such a broad point of view and it is hard to keep certain things straight, hes a fun guy but the class is very hard.

He is an excelent teacher, when he comes to class. The random swearing might offend some people but brings comic relief to his lectures. His tests are going to kill you unless you know every word in the book by heart.

He is a really awsome teacher and he is more than willing to speak his mind about anything. I really enjoyed his sense of humor and of course his occasional "colorful" language. I managed to fail the first 2 tests but I ended up with an A in the end after I learned that he posted detailed study guides on blackboard. If it wasn't on the study guide it wasn't on the test!
