I am in a class of about 75 students. I believe Rick knows every student in there by name! He cares about the students.

For only an intro class (Intro to Broadcasting), Alloway kept me interested in an otherwise very dry subject, such as broadcasting history and law. He's also very understanding; when I had him, his mother-in-law was very sick, and I not knowing this e-mailed him whether he had our tests graded yet (and not rudely, though it might have seen like it.) He explained to me his predicament, and did so in a professional manner, of which I apologized and he has treated me with nothing but respect ever since. He has every right to be a part of the broadcasting department here at UNL.
