I'm actually really surprised at all the negative comments on here regarding Allgood. I was taking macro and micro at the same time and had micro with Allgood and macro with Asarta. Since the two classes have basically the same information covered in the first 5 chapters, it was helpful for me to have Allgood as my professor because anything that Asarta was teaching that I didn't quite get, I understood it when Allgood went over it. I liked Asarta too, but I just think Allgood did a better job of explaining concepts. Allgood is really funny in class and if you do the homework (which isn't too difficult) and study, the tests aren't too bad. In my opinion, the tests check for actual understanding, not just memorizing the material. I would definitely suggest Allgood for micro though, I really enjoyed his class.

He's not too bad. I'm learning a lot and doing pretty well on the tests. His tests are written fairly and he posts test preps on blackboard to study before the test.

Allgood's lectures are extremely dry, and it's funny because he realizes this. Also has a very cynical/dry sense of humor. You might be bored during the lectures, but if you do the standard things, go to class, read the book, you should do well.
