Stay away! This guy is bad news. Why write a test where the top score is somewhere in the 70% range and then curve everything around that? Why not write a test that is a bit easier and not have to be curved as much?! Too bad he writes the tests for all the sections but maybe other profs teach better.

Mr. Frakes is so intelligent! He is also available many hours out of the week to help students. His grading for tests are outstandingly difficult however, but he makes up for it with a large curve. Overall, I would take him, but don't ever take the tests lightly!

Very boring and difficult. He is too smart to be teaching an introductory level accounting class. He expects you to understand everything since he does.
