bethany marshall was the poorest excuse for a professor i have ever had. i had her one hour a week and i grew to dislike her more than any other professor i have ever had. she is unorganized, unprofessional, and she does not follow through on anything that she says she will to, ie, posting grades, posting exam questions not even for the final practice exam and does not notify us that she won't be doing so until 3 hours before the final exam on the course website, she doesn't bring the grades to class that she says she will post a month prior to the last day of class which she said she will do, all her exams are poorly written with mistakes everytime, including the final exam. and the class is an absolute joke... it is biology, but she is pushing her tree hugging beliefs on everyone. she is, overall, the laziest, most worthless professor i have had. she has no respect for the students. i have never felt more failed by a professor.
Beth is great. She makes class alot of fun while learning. No exams, papers are easy enough to write and you can re-write them until you get the grade you want. Have to do a PowerPoint presentation for your final.

She is a really nice person. The class itself feels like a huge waste of time. Though it is an extremely easy A. I didn't even have to buy the book

I almost feel kind of bad for Dr. Marshall. She teaches the one class that all the non-science majors end up having to take just to graduate. So, all the people that are there don't really want to be and don't really care a whole lot about the topic. That being said, I think it is overly easy, in that she pretty much hands you an A on a silver platter. If you show up the once a week the class meets and pay 25% attention to the lecture you'll do just fine. She does seem like a really sweet lady and I'm sure she knows a lot more about the subject than she shares. It's just a little too kindergarten-style for me, it makes me feel like I could be doing something better with my time. Oh well, at least now I'm graduating.

I took her class because I needed one more science credit. Although her class was boring as all hell, you soon find out that there really is no need to attend her class than on the days of the tests or quizzes. She may look like she is related to carrot-top, or even resemble the lady with the triangle shaped hair in Dilbert, but her class is EASY. If you're looking for an easy A science class, this would be it.
