Dr. Holbrook is an awesome professor. If you get the chance to, take a class from him. Easily the best prof I've had at WSU. Totally unassuming guy, very intelligent and educated in his field. It was a great course from a great prof. Thanks.

Dr. Dan is overall great! However, don't enroll in either BioMedical or Environmental ethics if you don't plan on reading the required readings (very short) before class. The class is basically a discussion session where you learn to make arguments yet you also learn how to back them up using the foundations of ethics. Classes are interesting becuase you get to bring your educated opinions to the table and back them up. There are no right or wrong answers in his classes, so long as you can use the foundations of ethics to back-up your opinions... The man knows a staggering amount of statistics and facts about these thical issues.

Good professor, open to student ideas-but lets students take over class too much, while readings were interesting, there were 3 or 4 morons in the class who seemed to believe everyone was there to listen to their boring, poorly argued, over-emotional political agendas. Especially the annoying activist who actually suggested on numerous occasions that we overthrow the government. Dont these Marxists get it? They're irrelevant, outdated and have no interest at all in challenging their own ideologies.
