Professors: Respond to evaluations by creating an account
Had a class with this guy not to long ago. People showed up during teacher evaluations that the prof had convinced to drop long ago. He had not one satisfactory review. He's a bad prof, bad lecturer, tough grader, and unapprochable, but his wife Shira is nice.
Extremly hard test, I felt like I did good when I got a 50%. Homework takes a while but is not too overly difficult. Not a great professor but not worthless either, I feel that I learned a great deal about programing from the class.
Positive:
Is challenging
Shows a great knowledge of subject matter
Negative:
Overly difficult tests or assignments
Makes class too challenging
the class i took from him was cs251 which is an into into C programing. but he wasn't teaching at an into level!!!! the first day of class he tells us that we shouldn't be in "his" class if we haven't had C programing experiance befor! it was a horrible time.... dont take classes from this guy.

This class has no prerequisites, yet the first day of class he will tell you need prior knowlage of C programming to pass. He is not kidding!! The homework will take 5-10 hours on average, and there is nothing even resembeling partial credit on the tests. Miss a semicolin and you get a zero for the whole problem. And who can write an immaculate page of code without a compiler? His teaching style is horrible. He explains things in a way that you would only understand if you had been programming for years. Let me just say that I got a F in Schneiders class, and when I took it from Hudson (who unfortunately is not teaching here anymore) I got a B+. Avoid Schneider at all costs!!
