I was enrolled in Professor Staab's Gened 110 Class for Fall 2002. I found his lectures to be very organized, presented on powerpoint, however, there is little information given on them and you have to take what you think is important. Good writing skills are very important as well as a good idea of how to answer the essay questions for the tests. This class will definately require some time to study, if you want to do well. Middle East studies are his specialty. Overall a good teacher. As with all Gened classes (IMO), the material is worthless so instead of giving the category of worth an F, I gave it a C because Staab is a good teacher.

Professor Staab is not only extremely nice, but is an excellent instructor. He knows the material he teaches very well and keeps everyone involved in the discussion. He is easy to approach and very reasonable. The only way to not have a good experience in one of his classes is to not show up.
