He Sucks! The class material is unrelated with his lecture and the Exams is far too hard. The lecture itself is so boring and confused that I prefer reading some other reference book for history instead of listening to him. Try take the GENED 111 with somebody else ....

tests on material he never teaches. His tests have nothing to do with any of the material we have discussed the entire year.

This is the worst professor I have ever had, and I've had math teachers who grade on spelling. His teaching "style" is supposed to be based on the Socratic method, but it was difficult to tell through his meandering rants and oft times contradictory positions. What I did glean from the class was that, apparently, all of human history was merely an exercise in showing how Western culture is morally bankrupt. I think. Plus, his personal hygiene is a cause for concern.

I've learned more about history staring at roadkill than I have in this class. I'd be lucky if I could put together a single comprehendable fact from his lecture. They seem to relate to nothing, but yet everything! He jumps from here to there and back and forth repeatedly. The class itself requires many small assignments which are fairly easy, yet painfully agonizing. There are other professors which I would rather learn from, enough said.
