I really would have rather taken any class on this campus before ever thinking about taking Chemistry again after high school. Professor Gengenbach is a GREAT professor for the chemistry dept. He WILL help you, and I encourage anyone to go see him in his office for help if you do not get the subject matter in lecture. He REALLY helps!!!

Dr. Gengenbach is pretty hard, you are expected to memorize alot of concepts and keep them all straight. He covers alot of information in lectures so you shouldn't miss them cause if you do you are out of the loop for the concept that was taught. If you need help def. go to his office hrs. he is very helpful one on one

The class itself was pretty boring but you can't expect much from inorganic chem. The tests and quizzes seemed more difficult than they needed to be. He didn't just expect us to remember the basic concepts but every minute detail of those concepts.

Is interesting/entertaining/funny

Is willing to help students anytime

Shows a great knowledge of subject matter

Has enthusiasm in the classroom

Negative:

Expectations are unclear or lofty

Overly difficult tests or assignments

Makes class too challenging
