Dr. Dossin is not only an amazing pianist, but a great person all around. He wants his students to succeed, and he is always willing to help in any way that he can. Although he expects a lot out of his students and is very critical sometimes, it pays off. He is one of my favorite professors.

Dossin challenges his students and is brutally honest about how his students are playing, but I have learned so much from him. He teaches students how to play to the best of their ability and also helps them develop a thick skin (though he is also good at giving out compliments when they're deserved). If you work hard in his classes, it will pay off.
