Anne Utschig

Dr. Utschig is not an overly difficult professor, but she tends to grade rough and not specify why she has give you that grade. The assignments are boring and the papers are reviewed too many times, it gets to the point where you just dont give a shit anymore what grade you get. She assigns a group paper too, so if you dont like group things don't take this class.

Dr. Utschig is not someone to take unless you absolutely have to. She is a horribly unfair woman when it comes to grading. She almost never gives feedback as to why a grade was what she decided it was - very annoying to have to deal with. She is a smart woman, but what she chooses to teach in English 110 is often of no use outside of class and you forget it right after you learn it. She has to be the only professor that still uses a 30 year old grammar test to decide whether or not you have to go into the Writing Center for additional tutoring on your own time. Her assignments are often a waste of time in the grand scheme of things, even though they take up a ton of time to finish. She does seem to care about our success in class, but she can not relate to what it is like to be a college student anymore. Only take her if you want to have a ton of expectations that have no real value once you finish up with her class.

She's married, but doesn't like men

Dr. Utschig is a nice person, but her lectures are terribly boring. She is also a harsh grader and does not give feedback on grades in a timely manner.
