Ruprecht is a great guy to have for a Prof. He is a little challenging, you have to write all of your papers about English, which can be difficult at times. Be ready to work, but also be rewarded for the work you do.

Dr. Rubrecht is one of the more amusing professors at Eau Claire. I recommend him because of his sense of humor and knowledge of subject material. His origin in the Ozarks makes him seem like a Civil War general out of place in the midwest. He lectures well, but his problem is that he gives unclear assignments and due dates. He will make an assignment and not officially assign a due date a week in advance. Do not expect to follow an organized syllabus in any of his classes.

Rubrecht is a good prof. However, his classes are difficult and DO require a fair amount of work. He's definitely not a prof that a non-English major should take to fill generals.
