If you're willing to learn and not afraid to work, take Jerz, and do an insane amount of both. One caution: when he says "do, revise, and then continue", that's what he means. Be prepared to learn, hard and fast, because to get done with everything by the end of the semester, you're going to have to. One caveat (which really annoyed me): He only accepts submissions, new or otherwise, on Mondays. You've been warned. I got a D in another class while I was taking this one because I spent so much time on this one and neglected the other (I had 17 credits at the time, and got an overall semester GPA of 3.07, so make sure you've got an excuse before you roll your eyes at me...)...he seems to be disorganized, and disheveled, you realize after the first couple weeks that that's him, he really didn't just tumble out of bed, or if he did, he's gonna look like that all day regardless. If you manage to pass his class, you will have learned a lot, and every moment will ultimately have been worth it. In case anyone's wondering, he's accepted a position at Seton Hill College outside Pittsburgh...

So here is the deal with Jerz, he is like Howard Stern, either you love him or you hate him. But there is one thing you should know, if you take his class you will leave knowing a lot more than when you first entered. He will teach you something, but you will work your butt off.
