Public Relations

Professor Frederick was one of the best professors I've had. He knows a lot about Public Relations and Journalism in general which will help students in their future careers. He is always willing to help and he likes discussion in the classroom, which made it less boring and actually fun to come to class. He's always willing to help so if anyone gets below a C in his class - I have no idea why. He strives to help students and curves grades! Journalism 430 was especially interesting, I learned a great deal of knowledge that I can apply to real world and my future careers. Have respect for him, he's a great professor and deserves it.
Prof Frederick grades fairly and doesn't give assignments outside of the classroom. He really knows what he is teaching and cares about his students and their grade in the class. Even if you don't understand something, he's willing to help. I did poorly on some of the tests but I did well on the group project and I came to class, missing only 3 total, and I got a C, I was suprised because I didn't do so hot on all the tests but he really wants his students to do well and he is willing to look at your grade/scores and see what areas you do well in, and he usually takes the grades that you do better on and averages them out. He's great, I highly recommend him for public relations!

Negative:
Professor Frederick is awesome. He really knows PR and has had first-hand experience in the field, if your going into PR or advertisement, I would definately take him, you learn alot. Discussion is sometime boring, but what class isn't. He grades very fairly and rounds off your grade at the end of the semester so that usually you do better than you should have. He's really nice and if you only miss up to 3 class periods, do the one big group assignment, you'll do fine. He's a great professor.
