Awesome professor. Only person I know who can make Econ interesting. Tests were occasionally hard, but he balances it out with papers. Great guy.

Definately a great class. He's just so funny, you can't help to try in the class out of respect for the teacher. Not to mention, he makes econ easy. If you even try, you will do well.

Econ is not the easiest to grasp, but he is a perfect teacher for the subject. He uses examples left and right to help clarify the material. He makes the class enjoyable with his humor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! A+++++++

Bottom line: Dr. Kolb is a nice guy, however, at 8:00 in the morning the drone of his voice can lead almost anyone into a catatonic state. He does love what he is doing but his topical approach to material so complex makes it seem like all he wants us to learn is the definitions of econometric terms and not actually econometrics itself. He has a good sense of humor and you do learn a far bit of jargon. I don't blame the professor as much as I blame his timing. Sign up at your own risk.
