Doc has excellent, effective methods. However, if you're sensitive to candid criticism, you may want to avoid him. He tends to have "favorites."

Doc is overall a good professor. He tries to cater to the needs and wants of the students, while staying within the boundaries of the Music Dept. Sometimes he can be overly negative in rehearsal, which can make it hard to get out of a rut, but overall, I would say he is good.
