He uses an extremely diffult-to-read book to make his exams, which are hard. He rarely tested on the notes we took in class. It was a very interesting course though, I learned a lot of interesting stuff. He was good because he was always interested in what he was teaching us, and had great pictures from trips he took!

this guy is an asshole with a capital 'A'! he honestly made fun of a girl in my class who had a lysp! his test are tests only a psychotic anal ego maniac could dream up! take Tim Bawden for geog 111!!! he is a god compared to vogeler!

Vogeler is a tough one. I definately would not recommend any of his classes. I think he is trying to convert everyone into something, I'm not sure what though. If you do not know what the following words mean, you won't learn in the class and will be tested on it: environmental determinism logical empiricism dialectical materialism and many more! Also, he is a sick man. He seems to relate everything to sex and is biased although he shouldn't be in a class like this.

His computer based class is really hard (section 401), cause you are constantly working on about 3 different projects at once.

This professor is fun. Even though his projects are long, you learn a lot from it. You can always go up to him to ask for help. Like most profs, if you care, you will do well.
