Have only had Shaddock for one upper-level lit course, but I loved her. I'm SO glad people are finally singing her praises rather than leaving immature and irresponsible remarks. She's awesome! You go, Shaddock!

Pay absolutely no attention to the review suggesting Shaddock is mentally ill. That's laughable. I HIGHLY recommend Shaddock to anyone who truly cares about the quality of their education. You'll learn lots and produce better work than you thought you were capable of. An EXCELLENT prof.

Shaddock's score is shamefully low! She's a top-notch, engaging,intelligent and supportive educator. So she challenges you to think -- that's what college is for! In any case, you shouldn't take teaching styles so personally. If you're not dedicated to your education and are just "going through the motions," then register for a different class so you leave seats open in Shaddock's classes for more serious students.

She thinks she's more important than she really is. She is condescending mean and not helpful at all. In fact, she seems a bit mentally ill. I think she's on some sort of power trip. It's just sad that someone like her is attempting to "teach" young minds. Do not sign up for her classes or I'm afraid you'll regret it. Horrible.
