I would not recommend her. She is nice one on one, but you basically have to read and pick out all little details to do well on the tests. (there are only 5 grades in this class, but she does offer some extra credit papers for minor E.C.)

You either will do really well or really poorly in her class depending on the how you approach it. If you have alot of critical thought toward anthropolgy you'll do well but DON'T expect the answers to the test questions to be given up front you're going to have to think through it and definitly do the reading. It's not a slacker class but it is a really interesting subject and she is willing to bend over backwards for you inorder to help you out but you grade at the end of the clas will be fair to the work you put into it. Don't expect a hand out from her.

Dr. Smith was very intimidating the first few weeks of class, but it really is just a front....she's the nicest lady! If you go to review sessions she is very helpful and really very "grandma-like".

Dr. Smith is challenging but encourages you to do well. She can be intimidating but one-on-one she is the world's sweetest lady.
