Jim Rundall
University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire
Department:
Accounting
Professors: Respond to evaluations by creating an account
I don't want to go through that list of negatives and positives. My only gripe is that he usually goes over most/all of the assignments he gives in class. You can get by by doing the assignments in class. In any case, you miraculously learn the material by listening to him, and by example in the book. Read the text. If you get the assignment done before class, you'll probably fall asleep in class. He tells boring, monotone, and relevant stories that help out somehow. I'm not sure how he taught the class, I was amazed when exams came around and I knew the stuff. He has a hidden teaching style that is an enigma to how you are learning it. Good teacher, but saddly monotone.
Rundall really cares about his students. His tests are a little hard, but he fully prepares his students for the final exam. He's very nice and always willing to help when you need it.
Positive:
Good professor.
Is interesting/entertaining/funny
Is willing to help students anytime
Shows a love of teaching
Shows a great knowledge of subject matter
Has enthusiasm in the classroom
Negative:
Confusing or hard to understand
Overly difficult tests or assignments
Makes class too challenging
