Kate is the best professor I ever had! Hers was the only class that I actually looked forward to going to. I not only learned more about history, but I learned how to become a successful student and person. Her teaching methods do require outside work, but...WE'RE IN COLLEGE NOW! Don't expect to do nothing and get a good grade. I loved her and would love to take another one of her classes again!

Great lady. Witty, insightful, and purposeful. She has no tolerance for whiny college students and shouldn't.

I would rather dry shave by entire body than take this prof again. History should be fun and interesting, not a bunch of terms that have little meaning to the students. The final project is cool, but don't expect a good grade unless the prof likes your topic. Save yourself a semester of grief and take a different prof

Kate is an excellent person, but horrible prof. Her exams are extremely difficult to do well on unless you somehow get a clue as to what terms will be on the test. I wouldn't take her again unless all other profs at this university died and the dean forced me.
