Nice person, a little too hard at times. If you have a problem, talk to her about it. Has huge mood swings.
Positive:
Good professor.
Is interesting/entertaining/funny
Negative:
Confusing or hard to understand
Expectations are unclear or lofty
Overly difficult tests or assignments
Notes/lecture is confusing
Her class was very challenging for me. Because she grew up in Germany, I think sometimes it was difficult for her to realize the problems that non-native German speakers experience when trying to rid themselves of an accent. She was always organized and stuck to a clear plan throughout the semester, however daily class activities; such as writing notes, listening to lecture, was at times confusing. I believe if the information was presented in a different format, it could have been more effective.
Positive:
Is challenging
Motivates students to do well
Is willing to help students anytime
Shows a great knowledge of subject matter
Negative:
Confusing or hard to understand
Overly difficult tests or assignments
Notes/lecture is confusing
Although she is a nice woman, she tends to be too difficult. She forgets sometimes that Americans aren't native German speakers. Tests are hard, sometimes too hard, a lot of busy work that don't count for anything, and tends to laugh at people when they don't understand.
