Nicholas Passell

Really a great guy, this professor does want you to do good. He just flies through the material in class as if we understand where he's going until everyone's so lost they just kind of doze off. I got A's in math every year, but for some reason bombed Passell's course.

A little bit wierd but very cool. He is very interesting and seems to know everything. He is tough, but only because he is too smart. If you don't suck at math you should take him.

A basically nice guy, just not a very good teacher. He gets impatient when people don't understand what he believes to be basic concepts. His testing goes a step beyond what he teaches in class, so the tests tend to be fairly difficult. I would recommend that people in lower level math avoid him, although math majors may enjoy the challenge.

Lets face it this guy is old and boring, he tells stories that don't relate to class constantly. I had to drop because it was just too hard. He expects that everyone already knows the information. Unless you have already taken pre-calc and remember every single bit of it do not take the class with passell. He has this annoying monotone voice. He assigns a good amount of homework every day that is not collected. His tests are not really on material taught in class or from the book which sucks. This is an extremely hard class. He will tell you on the first day that a bunch of people will drop his class because they are too stupid. Oh yeah and he kinda looks like George W. Bush.

HE IS A COMPLETE DUMBASS THAT REALLY NEEDS TO BE SUSPENDED FROM TEACHING
