Rob Reid
University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire
Department:
English/Literature
Professors: Respond to evaluations by creating an account
Rob is challenging, but no more so than the kids we'll encounter when we leave university. He makes you think about what is valuable about books and teaches you to be able to express that value to others in a lot of different ways. User friendly, humorous and real world applicable - what more could we ask for?

Negative:
so reid is an extremely nice guy but....he has very high expectations and i feel the amount of work he gives is extremely unfair, if not unreasonable...seven paper, including 2 huge reasearch and 5 papers which involve reading a book not to metion reading and and book assignments every week, oh yea and studying for tests, oh yes AND journal assignment that require you to go out of you way to plays and things that most college students don't have time for..his point system is very unfair too. i mean only 5 points for a paper that required you to read a book and write about it..i mean come on!

Rob Reid is tied as my all-time favorite professor at UWEC. He is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. His assignments are challenging but not overwhelming, and his tests are definitely manageable. He opened the class by telling a folk tale (he pops a balloon) and ended with a game of "Kiddie Lit Jeopardy!"
