He uses the overhead with slides from the 80s era. He puts them up and doesn't leave enough time to jot down the important information. He doesn't know how to use any new technology and doesn't seem to care to be in lecture. His tests are extremely long and have the smallest details withing them.

I dont really know what to say about prof. Eierman. He is a wierd guy with no sense of humor. In his class you sit there and listen to him talk about god knows what.... Very confusing, and not clear on what is important, and what is not.

I really really liked Prof. Eierman! Cmon, People. He is a great guy and a good professor. I would recommend him to anyone!!!!

He is not a professor I would recommend. First of all, he doesn’t show an interest in teaching. Second, he acts like it’s a chore to help certain students (he plays the “favorites†game). Thirdly, he often explains important things quickly and unclearly, yet he has all the time in the world to exaggerate on tangents. Finally, the lab reports take way too much time to do, and are soooo boring! I don’t feel I received my money’s worth of education: because of his teaching style, I didn’t really learn that much from the class. I passed the class because of the book. It’s not necessarily that this class is difficult (depending on your chemistry background), it’s just mostly busywork.
