Great guy, helps you understand a ton of different religions. Class is mostly memorization. Really funny, definitely recommend. Plus he's like the George Clooney of UW-Eau Claire!

Spina is freaking awesome!! He keeps you awake during lectures, and tells funny stories. He made Religions very interesting and entertaining definetly the best professor i've ever had....if you have the chance take Spina, his review sheets helped a lot as well as his outlines....

His notes can be a little confusing, but even the 3 hour lecture goes by quickly. He's very entertaining and funny, a great guy! He has a great knowledge for the material and really enjoys his job. Has what he calls A.D.D. and often tells stories from his experiences, gauranteed to make you laugh, I would definitely recommend Spina!

Yeah, I have to agree with everyone who posted previously, Spina is just so cool and laid back and will actually engage you and respect what you have to say. That sounds easy, but most professors can be terrible at communicating with students, Spina is not one of them, he's the man.
