He's great; very enthusiastic and keeps things interesting. No tricks to his tests - mostly MC. Some very easy take home assignments. One funny bit -- one day he asked the class for examples of dead languages. I offered "Aramaic" in a very clear voice (I sat in the front) He asked me to repeat it, then spell it, then asked what it was. I was shocked that a Geog prof would not know this. After telling a Soc W. prof/friend of mine, I heard that the story made it around much of the faculty.

If it were up to me, this man would run the university. By far the best porfessor I've ever had. He's also one of the coolest guys you will ever meet.

Bawden is a good professor you learn and retain a lot of information that is useful in your everyday life. However, There is a lack of points in this class only 215, so if you mess up one test you basically can't get a good grade in this class.

Prof. Bawden is one of the best professor's i've ever had..he is so funny and really creative using power point...he really does a nice job in tying the subject matter of the class with things that are currently happening in the world...geog 111 is highly recommended and really really interesting.
