I have had Dr. Bob for two classes now and have finally been able to decipher him. Yes, Dr. Bob has been teaching for a long time and probably doesn't care as much as he should. That negates the fact that he knows what he's talking about and doesn't spoon feed his students information like many other teachers do. With his classes, you have to teach yourself everything. I recommend actually reading the texts and everything he has posted on D2L. If you have a question and approach him as a responsible and respectful student, rather than a whining brat, he is more than willing to help you out. Dr. Bob is a nice guy with a wealth of information, but the key to success in his classes is figuring out how he works.

The study guides have nothing to do with what is on the exam. Exam's are terrible! Not relevent to anything in class discussion or readings.

This man, or "Dr. Bob" as some refer to him, is a tool. I have never been so unhappy with a professor in my life. He spends most of the class picking up and setting down his coffee mug. This behavior stops only when he gets lost during his lectures, which he has not changed since the mid-90's. I understand that should not happen, but it does and I attribute that to the fact that he simply does not care anymore. I hope W. Robert reads this at some point. If you are reading this, I say leave now. You are serving no purpose to the greater good of the university and you are wasting students time and money. If you really truly care about the future of the young minds of America, leave UWEC and never teach again. In summation, you suck big hairy balls.
