Brohaugh needs to realize that we are not perfect English based writers. Take it easy for once and realize that we all have different view points. Let us be our own person in our writing. we cant read your mind so tell us what you expect in our writing. Explain assignments in a way that we will understand. Actually, Just explain the assignments in the first place.

Even though he's been retired for a while and no one is probably looking at this site anymore, i felt like posting something here because, when i had him a couple years ago, i remember hearing a lot of negative things about him. even though he seems like the kind of person who would hold well under criticism, here's my two cents to boost his grade/ego a bit: He knows his stuff very very well, and he expected his students to learn it, too. He assigned more reading than i wanted to do, but it was do-able, and i definitely learned more shakespeare that way. His test questions were often obscure, but if you knew the material you would know the answer... you just couldn't skim things. He obviously ascribed to the rule that "A"s shouldn't be easy to get. Good for him. He was a likable guy--very friendly-- and he appeared to enjoy teaching, as well as his subject matter. I would have recommended him to someone who could handle his expectations.

This man is horrible! Don't ever take him, all we did was discuss if there really is a god or not. If we didn't believe in what he said we were wrong! He should not be allowed to teach if he is just going to shoot down the students ideas once we say them!! Don't ever take this professor!
