I had Bonko in Management 330 over J-term. He is very funny!!!! He is very easy-going and easy to talk as well. He takes an active approach to teaching. He doesn't just stand in front of the class and lecture, like many of us are used to. He likes to get the class involved by getting the opinions of the class and hearing what we have to say, but he will also tell you what he thinks about whatever it is that we are discussing. He wants to hear honestly what is on your mind. He often told our class not to sugar coat what we think or feel. I really like that as well. I have never had a professor like him before. It was very different from what I am used to, but it was very refreshing. His stories are about real life experiences, and they are pretty funny. On his written assignments, he is big on writing with passion, not writing about what you think a teacher wants to hear in order for you to get a good grade. I would suggest that everyone take him! He is one of my favorite profs I have ever had in college and I am so disappointed that I only get to take one class with him. If you get the chance to take a class with him, do it. You will not regret it.

Bonko is the best marketing professor that I have ever had. His lectures are interesting, his experiences are hilarious, and his projects are useful and beneficial to students. I wish that this university would not keep taking his classes away and giving them to those two new jerks that do not know how to teach that they hired.

Bonko is AWESOME! The textbook is so boring and difficult to read, but he explains the important or confusing stuff and has enough sense to leave some of the tiny, never-gonna-use-it stuff alone. Class discussions sometimes went astray but they were always amusing. Is not an easy grader, but is not unfair. He's definitely a funny guy, and he relates some of his real-life experiences to the material. Sidenote: Ask him about his days at St. Thomas and the morning that one of the priests came to show his dorm room... and he was hungover with straw all over his floor... ;)
