He comes to class organized - except when he forgets his glasses and blames it on his wife! Also, he is a great professor and if you're sitting in lab working on something and you have no idea - do not be afraid to ask... he is very willing to come over and try to explain. Unless of course you have a "crappy seed..." - but he tries his hardest to make sure you understand everything. I was really worried about this lab, and now it's the one class that I look forward to going to. And his stories about hunting are very entertaining!

he's a nice guy.... but on the quizes they can be challenging if you study a fair amount it's not too bad. i'm taking another class of his next semester.

Cosgrove is really a funny guy. I'm not a hort major and he makes plant sci fun and easy to understand. He makes you feel more at ease when he talks about his own life (esp hunting!!) Make sure that you keep up with the labs, because the quizzes can be a little tricky (sometimes). He's just a really fun teacher and I would recommend him!
