Brantley is perhaps the best professor on campus. She sets her standards at the student's level rather than creating an arbitrary expectation that everyone is supposed to arrive at. She is the kind of professor that you love to strive your best for because you know that she will appreciate your effort.

The broadness of the grade spectrum here suggests that the negative grading students obviously did very poorly in her course... that's a little odd because the class wasn't overly difficult and only required moderate participation. She seemed pretty easy, and was always helpful and happy as well as concerned about students as individual people.

Dr. Brantley is hard to please. She gives you lots of writing assignments and it is next to impossible to get over a B on them. She claims at the beginning of class that there will be a lot of student involvement--but you spend a lot of time writing her notes into your notebook.
