She expects a lot of her students and she should. A career in newsgathering is not for lazy people. In the real world a journalist's life is lived by deadlines, it's no different in her class. I think she prepares her students well for what's down the road.

Overall good professor, stay on top of the book assignments as well as what you do in class. Book assignments will not be gone over in class and there are online quizzes on the material.

She seems very disorganized, and is generally late for the class.
