Bob is to smart to be a professor. He expects everyone else will know what he is talking about in engineering and likes to toss up a bunch of equations all over the board and cruise through them. He is a hard#$% for grading. Terrible professor for AFES, gives unclear expectations and grades very hard and unfair. Rather than look at people he stares at the back wall or behind everyone which is weird.

I only took this guy for lab for Ag eng. 150 and it was horrible! he made fun of students if we did something wrong, and even called certain students stupid on a regular occasion. THis is suppose to be an intro class, and it is a LAB, not a 400 level class! he never explained stuff to us, he just wrote a few things on the board and then left to help the "real" students (that is, advanced engineering students) and then he would come back and get mad that we weren't done with our lab yet. he has no clue how to use Excel, and a lot of what you do is on excel. He knows his stuff, but he is too busy being a smart ass about it to even teach it. take him if you want, but if you like to be respected and feel even remotely like you are smart enough to be in college, stay far away from him. Also, he assumes that everyone in the class is a "stupid freshman who needs to learn the REAL ways of the world" hello, just becuase we are in an intro class does not mean we are all freshmen!

Although Bob is a nice guy, his teaching skills are lacking. He just comes in and starts throwing equations up on the board like we already know them. He gives you labs and barley explains how they are to be done. His tests are hard and almost everyone fails them. I wish there were someone else that taught this class because the potential for it to be worthwhile is there but jeeeze!!!!!!
