The student complaining of how he's supposedly an 'A' student who had to drop Boukahil's class is a person with entitlement issues and has little understanding of what higher education is about. The first thing Professor Boukahil looks for in a student is his or her committment to learn, and he is very good at recognizing if you're indeed a hard worker or if you're a lazy brat. If you walk into his class expecting to get an 'A' by virtue of your upper-middle class upbringing or your self-assesment from high school, you will more than likely fail miserably (and then post false evaluations on this website as a way of rationalizing your faults). If, however, you try to understand the material and do your best to meet Boukahil's challenges, he simply will not let you do poorly. He is a professor of record; he has already established his reputation with the UW system as a credible and reliable educator. If you are an honest student, you will be thankfull to have a Prof of his caliber at UW-Whitewater.

Its all down hill after the first exam. Yes, the first couple of weeks are hard, but its worth it. He tells you hints during the lecture about whats on up coming exams. Ignore any previous comments about the A student failing the class in the first month. Everyone did poorly on the first exam since no one knew what to expect, but isn't that true with any new class?? That student sounds like baby. Take his physics class.

This man knows what he is talking about. I have never had a professor who captivates his audience like prof Boukahil. When he lectures everyone listens. To get an A in his class, you need to work hard though and I got it! He is a decent man. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO LEARN WHILE HAVING LOTS OF FUN.

This man is horrible. I was in his physics class for 3 weeks and had to drop. Keep in mind I'm an A student. He makes everything too difficult (I've taken Physics before), is obsessed with himself, doesn't even really test you on whether or not you know the physics, and is a total jerk. I could read the book and do all the problems, yet was doing poorly in his course because he's horrid! DO NOT TAKE HIM. Seriously. STAY FAR FAR AWAY. I have no idea how he has these good ratings up here. I was barely pulling a C in his class and now my friend is failing it. AVOID!!
