Going into the class i already knew all of the material but the way he tought the material opened up new ideas and understandings. As long as you do well on assignments and tests you will do fine in the class. There is little homework but he goes over alot in class. Overall i liked his way of teaching.

This professor does not explain material enough to pass quizzes. He would put questions on his quizzes/exams that were never discussed or practiced in class. Not enough assignments/grades to build your grade. Also the only extra credit you could get was through math lab which was difficult for students to do. Does not give partial credit.

THE ONLY REASON I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS PROFESSOR IS BECAUSE HE IS EXTREMELY SMART AND KNOWS HIS SHIT.. BUT HIS CLASS IS VERY VERY CHALLENGING, YOU CANT MISS CLASS AND DONT TRY TO BULLSHIT HIM CAUSE HE'LL GET YOU IN THE END. THE BAD THING IS THAT HE NEVER HAS TIME FOR HIS STUDENTS AND ALWAYS RECCOMENDS THE MATH LAB, HE MOVES VERY FAST LIKE 2CHPTS ADAY. HES A IFFY PROFESSOR JUST TAKE HIM AND SEE WHAT YOU THINK.

he is a good professor, if you go to class everyday you will be able to pass his class.

This class was really hard for a remedial math class. I was expecting to breeze through this because I was in the same math class in 8th grade. His tests were rediculous. His class was very hard. If I can give you one piece of advice it's this: Go to the math lab downstairs in mccutchan! This makes a big difference.
