Amanda Helms

Shes teaches senior level classes with lack of respect for students, and gives exams that are not even close to what students expect. I've never had a class at UWW that the class averages for the exam across all sections was below 60% Class is very dry and boring, no group project either.

Amanda Helm, not Helms, is a glorified grad student who has suddenly come to UWW to teach 400 level Marketing courses. She is not a real professor but has the same degree I will have in just a few short months. She does not really teach in class, but rather laughs to herself about all her experiences which are irrelevant and tests you on stuff which is impossible to know. Then, because the averge score in the class was a 50%, taught us how to study and take multiple choice tests despite the fact we are seniors this is her first semester here. It is a crime how big of a mistake UWW made in hiring her.

Amanda Helm...not helms by the way....sucks. The misconception in the other post is that it makes note she is a professor...but that is not the case. And, alhtough, it is her first semester here and our 7th semester, at least, she tells us how to study for college exams and strategies in taking multiple choice questions. I respect her a lot...except replace respect with loathe and hopes goes away real fast. Absolutely no reason why she is here. Zero credability, no world experience, not even a certified professor, but in fact has a degree I'll be getting in 6 months, that is not right. You fucked up UW-Whitewater, you fucked up. Now fix it.

Amanda Helms in the first year of teaching SUCKS!!!!! I have never dealt with such an unprofessional teacher in the world. She treats you as a Kindergarten. She seems to be a nice professor but she is not a professor you want to take if school is hard or comes easy to you. She is the most unreasonable person I know.
