Amanda Helms

We spent a whole class period on learning how to work well together in groups.....we are only seniors and have probably had about 20 group projects so far.....but thanks for the great advice anyway Amanada. Boring class....she's nice but doesn't really know how to teach the material.

I don't care about what anyone else wrote on here... Amanda is a new teacher who is still learning the ropes. She is one of very few good professors that Whitewater employs. She is outgoing and enjoys her students interests. Her classes can be monotonous, and some of her jokes a little dry, but if you actually participate in class you'll see how cool she can actually be.

As boring as white rice. This woman somehow stumbled into a teaching position for marketing after being a failed editor to some no name newspaper. (Did anyone tell her newspapers were the worst marketing media?) I didn't crack the book, listen in class, take notes, or look at a single power point and still ended up with an A. We had to do a project for one of her screw buddies that had zero to do with services marketing. As a class she tried to coordinate a research project,,,,,, hmm I didn't think I was taking marketing research,, nor did I think it took 40 people to do such a project. What a waste of time, I would rather use a bleach douche than sit through one more of her classes. Take it if you must but prepare by bringing something to entertain yourself, some options used in our class : partypoker.com, alcohol, or sedatives.

She is the worst possible combination....a bad professor that teaches you nothing but tests you on the hardest possible material. Have fun.
